Jalalabad's Aarti Honored with 'Pride of Young Hindustan Award' in Mumbai

Mumba, Youth icon Aarti, daughter of Shri Jatinder Paul, was recently honored with the prestigious 'Pride of Young Hindustan Award' in Mumbai for her remarkable contributions to social service. Representing Chandigarh, Aarti was among 15 distinguished awardees from across the country. This recognition marks a proud moment for both Jalalabad and the entire state of Punjab.

For the past eight years, Aarti has been dedicated to serving the community, consistently being the voice of society. Her efforts span various fields, including Women Empowerment, Plastic Waste Management, Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation, Voting Awareness, Environmental Protection, Cleanliness, and Education. These initiatives were carried out in collaboration with the National Service Scheme, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

In her acceptance speech, Aarti dedicated the award to all the youth and social workers in the country who have devoted their lives to the betterment of society and the nation. She highlighted that their tireless efforts in nation-building and social welfare often come at the expense of their personal lives.

Prior to receiving this prestigious award, Aarti had already been recognized with several honors, including the 'Best Volunteer of the Year Award', 'Best Volunteer at University Level', and the 'Roll of Honour' from Punjab University.
